Roy Thame identification - help please.

Devout Dirtbag
I was fortunate enough to pick up this nice Roy Thame today. I assume it's a rebadged Holdsworth as it does state supplied by W F Holdsworth on the Roy Thame decals. It is 531, has nice cutout lugs, hand lined, Campagnolo dropouts and the frame number is 75357. It's a touring model as it has mudguard eyelets on the dropouts front and rear. Can anyone date it or name the model ?

thame identification

Hi, do you still have this, and did you find out anything about it? I have a very similar machine with the number 75160 and I am trying to identify the model etc.

my Roy Thame is a 1986 Touring cycle and i was told by original owner that the number X00976 as stated on the original invoice was the frame number , cant prove this as cant find frame number !

pics were taken before i gave ir a clean after collecting it

The Holdsworth name was bought by Falcon / Townend in the 80's but WF Holdsworth had a shop.........they continued to build Roy Thame frames / Holdsworth from that shop.

I'm not sure they had "models" as such, just handbuilt frames.

That's the way I read it.
