Retro Newbie
if anyone knows where i'd be able to get hold of a set of transfers for an old bernard macklam frame let us know! just dug my dads old bike out of the cellar and realised its got silver soldered lugs, cinelli bars, shimano 600 gearing and 600 brakes so its worth saving! :D also whilst im thinking about it, does anyone know where i could get a raleigh burner tuper tuff re golded? thanks in advance!

Nick at Lloyds can supply them. I know because Bernard's nephew had one of his old frames restored recently.

whos nick at lloyds? how can i get in touch with him?

They're a company that specialise in reproduction transfers/decals. Very well known on here - but as a 'newbie' it's not surprising that you've not come across them, sorry.

Here's a link to the website -

Phoning is possibly the best way to contact, the company is run by Nick Tythecott (I think that's how it's spelled!) and it's basically a 'one-man' business.

You may have to ask about the Macklam decals because he doesn't always list everything on the website.
