Yeah it’s been very quiet here for a while!

My ratty gold Russian bike is now black and back in daily commuting duty:

I'd love to build up a USSR track bike one day.

Did a tough 90 miles on the Russian bike yesterday. It’s not called A Hard Day In January for nothing!

My legs are actually going a bit wobbly just looking at that. Is there a build thread for the Russian Bike somewhere? It looks ace!

Hey, long time no see!

There is a build thread on LFGSS but most of the images are dead and I haven't kept it very up to date: https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/275811/

Not retro but comfortable and practical. First dry daylight ride home from work. Early finish on a Sunday.

It's pretty retro! I really like Flyers of that vintage - Genesis did a great job with the graphic design and colour schemes. I remember seeing one in the blue colour scheme in Harry Hall's in Manchester and just managing to put my wallet back in my pocket before a difficult to explain accident happened. First time I wanted to buy a new bike since about 1985.

It’s a shame the clearance is so tight on this one. Can’t get a mudguard under the crown with 25’s on. But it looks good without them when sunshine days arrive. The blue one was nice this red is better in my opinion but doesn’t matter really. It’s my fourth one they crack eventually around the bb seat tube area. I’ve done everything from 10 mile tt’s to 600km audax on them.
