I have an early 1970s Bianchi Sprint frame & forks I'm refurbishing, unfortunately the threads on the 1" steerer have worn 'thin' in one section (not totally gone).
Is there anything that can be done so that I can keep the forks - rethreading/aheadset - etc?
BTW - Its a refurb not a restauration so not too precious about installing something non-period etc.
