Just watched American Flyers, brilliant!

I now really want an 80's Specialized Allez - did these ever come over here?

Back in the day we cooked up a pot of Spahgetti noodles, baked some garlic bread and feasted in fron of the movie the night before every race...and I mean every race all season long. I never wanted an Allez just Rae Dawn Chong

Blimey - impressive. Wonder how much practice that took? I've seen pro mechanics make a worse job of it in the TdF!

Great movie, and I've ridden some of those Colorado roads. Specialized does make a modern throwback of that bike:

I've seen that bike before but unfortunately we can't get them here

That slightly naff rear mech with the oversized pulleys does take the shine off the whole ensemble, mind.

So does the sloping top tube. The downward slope to the front doesn't sit well with the upward slope of the stem. Mind you for $100 less than the aluminium version it's a bargain.
