Be careful - I am pretty sure that the Triomphe models were normal right hand thread with the Victory having the left hand thread.

The spider arms narrow down to where the chainring meets them. the Triomphe flared back out before meeting the chainring. If it is Victory then you will definitely need the odd crank extractor if not using the self extractors (like me).
Circlip pliers will fit the pin holes. Just re-read your post and realised you aren't going to keep them anyway so hopefully that hex tool works.
