I have a steel framed Orbea Zeus frame purchased in the late 1990's. Does anyone know anything about this, it rode very nicely but I cannot find any inf
It's Spanish, I have one myself, if you shop around you can still pick up zeus parts, I have the zeus pedals, a chap I know has the chainset he's selling and I have seen the brakeset on offer here from a guy in Austraila.
Zeus is the same as Orbea and is made in the Basque region of spain its a co-operative.
They used to make campagnolo under licence in spain and then made there own parts. the Zeus 2000 bits were as good as campagnolo, and the alloy freewheels were like a swiss watch.
When I rode the worlds X champs near Irun the Zeus factory sent 3 bikes for me to use, but I never got to keep one !!!!
