It does look very like that....

and right time period of mid 80's too.

hmmm.

I think the short answer is they had frames made in a few different places.

Dave Kane advertised regularly in 'Cycling' in the late 80's. He was quite competitive with Duralinox frame sets and also advertised his 'own brand' framesets.

Talking about Steve Snowling, here he is riding a road race in 1968. He's on the left.

shame paint is so knackered or I'd keep it for decals, the front badge is super stylish :)
