Just picked up a Falcon Team Banana Cadet 12 speed on eBay, but I can't find out any info about the bike itself.

Does anyone know how it differs from the normal Falcon Team Banana bike? Have read some reports about the frame on the FTB being a reynolds 501, but I have no idea really...

Paint job is slightly different, but that's all I can tell so far till it arrives...

Bog-standard Banana replica on RB here;

My memory has gaps in it, but I think the Cadet had Reynolds 500 or 501 Cr-Mo main frame tubes (rather than high-tensile "gas pipe" stuff) and proper brake levers with rubber hoods rather than the "suicide" extensions on the bike above. Can't tell if the standard Banana had chromed steel rims but the Cadet may well have been alloy, no quick release hubs though.
