Un-bloody-believable!

Sitting there quietly, was a very nicely made Tom Bromwich with Stronglight 106 cranks, Suntour Suberb mech, Record front, Cinelli stem etc. A little gold mine

thats noice! like the wraparound seat stays

anyone care to guess what brakes would have been on there?

Bit of an odd build, it looks like a very long term ownership with the forks replaced along with the respray. From the style of the frame I would say may be early 70's with later parts added as and when.

At a guess, I would say the Campagnolo front mech and shifters are original.

Brev Campagnolo drop-outs, long point lugs on the BB area.

thats an outstanding find, recycling centre beside me wont let u take stuff from the skip, despite bribery attempts lol

Doesn't it remind you of Kermit?

Right that's it! I'm moving to LGF land where the recycling centres are awash with quality bike gear and you're allowed to take 'em home. I assume you have to pay for these gems but there's not even that option up here.

Why isn't there an envy Emoticon?

ours is the same, recycling centres wont let you have them. "health and safety guvnor".

Private skip places are worth investigating though, the lads on site will often be happier to sell you their skip finds for cheapness.
