That's the sort of bike that would've sent me into a fit of fury as a teenager - a sensible Raleigh! However looking at it now the bike has a certain charm, esp with the chainguard and bars. Looks nice and clean too...
There is some info out there about frame numbers, particularly initial letters for date and country. From what I can see I suspect it's from the far east. There may be a date on the hub shell.
a bloke told me theres two number on the hub mine says 87 11 so would it make sence if it was novemeber 1987? looks to be similar era to a rayleigh winner i had from a couple of the parts and that was late 80s
any idea what it may be worth,i dont think i can keep it as im up to about 15 bikes at the min and i litereally have no space,id really like to keep it and mod it but such is life
