Raleigh 625i titanium Road Bike Advice Needed

Iv'e been offered this rather nice Raleigh 625i Special divisions build
Full Suntour SL Groupset
Anyone with advice on this model
Don't know much about these if i'm honest

Hi, It is a bonded frame with 3 main tubes titanium and was branded Dyna-Tech 625.

It's a great bike and I would keep it as it is.

I love mine, actually a little stiffer than the more expensive Dyna Tech's given they have a steel rear triangle as opposed to ti & mn-mo.

The fork crown detail is beautiful.

I had mine resprayed the same as the Chronos MMC road frame a few years ago.

They are a nice, quick and ride-able bike, spend a long time in the saddle and they make sense. They will in initially seem 'floppy' compared to alloy or steel, but they always spring back, and I am sure that my abitlity is not marred by a flexy frame. It does make them very comfy though.

Bonding may be an issue, I had a gear lever boss fall off, but it was repaired by Argos in Bristol.

Also they will do some alarming but harmless things occasionally, wet rims and use of front brkae can cause a 'vertical' flexing as the top and bottom tube flex as the brake judders. Just something I have always ridden around for the last 15 years on mine!

In short do it, the price of these bike vs the pleasure they give is a no brainer! (Just like when they were new!!!)

Mines a 625 in purple like the 1st picture! Converted mine to flat bars due to a back injury years ago but still rides well. The Suntour SL brakes are shocking though (but I have a plan for that!?)
