Can't find a supplier online anywhere! I mean the 24 spline freewheel version, have now had to take wheels to the LBS twice to get one removed and thinking a tool could be a good investment.

Can anyone point me in the right direction please? Sorry if this has been asked before!

Cheers, Al :D

The type is called Helicomatic. They are getting increasingly rare. Spare cogs etc are getting hard to find. Don't spend much on the tool!

is it definitely a Helicomatic type if it has 24 splines? Balls, really hoping it's not! :( EDIT looks like I'm lucky and it's just a standard thread, Helicomatic hubs have a swirly thread that protrudes beyond the cogs no? Looks like I need, "Normandy/Schwinn large diameter splined 5-speeds 24 splines, 30 mm O.D." (Sheldon)
