Large Flange = LF

Small Flange = SF

It's the usual method of describing them in 'classic' circles.

Those Holdsworth wheel covers look really great, I really like the one on the right, no actually I like them both.

Here's my Ken Bird cover:

Isn't it the usual way in the UK? I think only Americans use "high" or "low" flange.

Just looked up Holdsworth, Beckenham and Penge since I live in Beckenham. Wow, looks like quite a history but all gone now. I saw Alec Bird Cycles mentioned in there as well, a bike shop I remember as a kid that must be long gone now.

I think Alec Bird took over the Clive Stuart shop as did Brian Rourke in the Potteries.

Clive Stuart, now there's a tale or two!

Have you only got one wheel's worth as well fiks?

I've got a pair of the Ken Bird covers. I'll take some pics of my other ones.

I have a set of green coloured Italian rubber wheel covers. I have had them for years and never used them. I suppose I should just offer them up for sale some day.

Picked up 3 more at the weekend - Ron Kitching, Condor (a pair) and E G Bates.

Now I need some more wheels to put them on.
