I've recently acquired this 3TTT stem and I'm not sure of the model reference. It's from around 1990'ish and is 25.4 bar size. This one is only a 90mm so is much to short for me so I will be disposing of it in due course.

Does anyone recognise it and which model it is? I'm hoping to add it to the Velobase listings as it doesn't appear there so need a bit of info first.

Thanks in anticipation.

I think I might have already found the answer on Mario's site -

http://defietsenmaker.nl/index.php?item ... 14&lang=EN

Model Evol 2002 - but the 'badge' on the 'pivot' is slightly different.

EDIT - actually it is even more different. The sides of the Mario's one have a sculpted out edge, mine is smooth.

bringing up an old thread, did you ever find out the exact model of this stem? I got one exactly like it on the vitus I just bought. The nearest model I can find is the Evol, but I'm not sure if that's correct, due to the slightly different faceplate and fluted sides.

Thanks!

As usual, I spend ages looking for the answer to a question, then ask, and then find the answer straight after!

I think it's a '2002' model stem. From the 3TTT website in the history section, "2002 and 2002 EVOL stems feature hinged clamp (1989/1991)"

Hi Foz, I did discover the model eventually. I think there were some NOS ones for sale somewhere which pointed me in the right direction. I think you're correct with the 2002 - but I can't remember now!

Thanks for the 3T link - and the '75 catalogue. It's sorted out the differences in the various 'bar engravings that have puzzled me for a while!
