Wheel Truing

Recently had some old Wolber rimmed wheels trued up a little by a local bike shop (nice to support local businesses where possible) My wheels now run true, but appear very slightly out of round. Would this be a problem once tyres and tubes are fitted?

It it's a mm or so I wouldn't worry. The only problem is if you have a very tight clearance frame when the rear tyre might rub, or (worse) if it's so bad that the brake block clips the tyre.

if its out of round than you will have a bumpy ride.

if its an old wheel then perhaps the rim has 'flats' on it which are impossible to get out

Roundness is do-able

I'm afraid you need to return to the local shop and have your wheels made round. The standard should be 0.2 mm true and 0.2 round mm!
Thats 0.008" in old money.
