I'm running a 2000 model giant TCR in aluminium. The top model of its day, which I bought NOS from the LBS. A bit later than the 90's, which you requested, but I reckon fits the bill.

There may well be a load of frames available soon from Planet X of this period. They've bought a lot of stock from Guerchiotti and are currently sorting them out. I was shown a lovely one on Friday when I was there but no idea of costs yet. Deda sculptured main tubes with carbon stays and fork. It looked lovely - and very light.
