£17-19-6 when first in the UK!

Taken from the 1969 Holdsworthy Aids booklet.

Quite a profit - even for 40 years!

It has been suggested on other forums that the guy is only putting that price on at attract attention to his many other (more reasonably priced) items for sale, knowing no-one will ever pay that much. Sneaky.

Clever and effective.

What's the going rate for a set like this?

IMHO, the wrong way to do it! Anyone seeing the brakes would probably assume that all of his other kit was similarly priced and not bother checking any out.

Should have posted a cheap 'un first with the usual 'see my other stuff' in the listing!
