I have just found details of these Large Flange Cassette hubs - C-Record replicas from Electrabikes in the USA
They look fantastic, and just the thing for a new frame I am having built in an "old style"

(look under Ticino parts)
Seem to take Shimano compatible cassettes.
I have never heard of Electrabikes - is their quality anygood ?
Despite being a very experienced cyclist, I have never owned cassette hubs (all my machines are screw-on-blocks)
Are cassette mechanisms "generic" ie. will I be able to replace the freehub mechanism with a shimano freehub mecanism if I got problems, or is it likely to take only an Electrabikes mechanism, meaning Iam tied into them for spares ?
And what is the situation with replacing cassettes - a whole cassette at a time, even if only 1 sprocket is worn, or can I replace single sprockets (and whats availability of these like )
