Welcome to RBotM competition for August 2020
This month it's an open month meaning any and all welcome, (with the exception of previous RBotM winners)
So take a snap of the bike you've been riding most and put it up as an entry, easy to do.

Usual rules apply in 1 entry per member, 2 photos with a brief description and a link to a build page, readers rides etc for more information. Full rules can be found in the WIKI section.
Thanks

Jamie

Updating earlier entries - Holland (Van Herwerden) meets Italy (Minestrini) as well as the 'new (1953/54)' waterbottle on bars (Fides) :D

Re:

Can I submit my SC?

Early 90s frame (with semi-vertical dropout, "new SLX" tubing, Silva rear brake bridge) with a mix of Campagnolo Record 8 Ti/C-Record/Record 9.
I use it either with the aero wheels (8sp cassette) and shallow rims (with tubs and 7sp Regina freewheel), and either CDA Monoplanar or Record Ti calipers

Hi,

I'd like to add my early 1980's Gino Milani, who was a contract builder for most of the pro peloton back then, and father in law to the recently deceased Dario Pegoretti.

http://www.classicrendezvous.com/Italy/milani_gino.htm

Build up with first generation C Record parts. Rides beautifully. Enjoy!

Toby

Hi, I'd like to enter my 1975 Claud Butler Electron (if it's not too late)

531 tubing and forks for 1975 - the last year of the Electron model production.

Bought from a lady who was selling the last of her late husbands possessions - came with original bill of sale from Masons Cycles of Wanstead. Was his pride and joy - and has been languishing in a shed for several years. Cleaned up, polished, lubed and set up - it's now riding like new.

Re: Nishiki Linear

1987 "Linear" TT bike; frame made in '86. First generation Shimano 105, and OFMEGA Premier components. Running a straight block 5 speed rear (15-19), and 49/55T up front (pictured with a 53T before the change to 55T). Not sure why I've been riding this bike regularly for the last month or so, normally only taking it out for the once a month "personal TT"; now every weekend! Frame was made in '86 for the '87 model year. Bought from a friend for cheap who couldn't ride it due to his back. Great bike overall, but 24" makes for interesting handling.

This is still in a temporary build condition. I have obtained all proper original parts (pedals w/OE cages, Biopace rings, 6 speed freewheel, and derailleurs) except the 105 model 1050 DT shifters in order to put together as a stock bike. Since I am presently building a Hopmans TT "lo-pro" to my own specs I didn't need to keep the Nishiki custom set up for me. Plus, I want those barcons for the Hopmans build.
