Geoffrey Butler identification Year and builder

Retro Newbie
I have a Geoffrey Butler frame and fork. I have found thru Bikeforums and the person I purchased it from that it is a Butler but in one conversation I have been told that it was built by Charles Roberts, But I have not received an answer from the guy who told me this as to his definitive reason.

Here are a few pictures

Wow lots of views but no information. Does anybody here know anything about the Roberts as builders or Geoffrey Butlers?

Re:

Roadking on here usually has informed opinions about Croydon framebuilders.

Try sending him a message he may be able to help.

Have a read of the above.
Now I have, Roadking sounds like the pompous old fart that was pulling the same "I know some information but I am going to be obtuse about giving it to you" on BikeForums.

I wish he would just help out instead of not providing the information. Some people can be founts of knowledge and some founts of BS.

I knew the GB did not make any frames and sourced them from many different builders. But Roadking illuded to GB frames having been built by Roberts,.
