Rear derailleur identification

Anyone able to identify this derailleur hanging off this Alan Record for me please?

Not 100% sure but it looks like an early nineties Shimano Alivio. Heavy and nothing special in their range, but a solid piece of kit that should work faultless for years.
But you Alan is worthy of something better looking :D
 
A candidate for some drilling & filing to make it look allot more stylish & of cours lighter.....
