After 3 years of not riding our tandem , I had told Mrs B if we did not use it this year , I would sell it! So on Friday 23 .8 . 2019 we finally blew the dust off it . Just over 30 miles covered with our friend Mike , who took it lovely picture .

Thank you both. We had a steady ride . I have more than kept my hand in, riding a solo 4/5 times weekly . Hill starts a bit of an issue during the trip . Even small ones!
A grand trip out though . Lunch at Melbourne pool which is a beautiful spot.
On returning home Mrs B said she would go out more often. 8)
She was fast on by 9pm :D .

We have both good memories of touring in the Uk and getting very wet. Taking it to France {by car} ,and the lovely day rides on empty roads made all the better by the mandatory patisserie raid :P . Once when following the tour, we got applaused by the crowd lining the road, on small hill into a village, where the race was passing though later .The shouts of le double even made Mrs B pedal faster
Austria tops for stunning valley rides, following rivers on cycle routes that we dream of in this country . Happy days .
Yes we are going to keep the tandem.
