Day out at a framebuilders

So are Roberts back making frames again ?

Worth mentioning.

Roberts never stopped making frames; Geoff began in the business at the age of 14 and worked alongside his Dad (Charlie) building frames; Charlie died suddenly in 1979 and Chas managed the business and Geoff continued building. Even when Geoff left the family firm after buying Ron Cooper's business he (Geoff) still built Roberts frames.

Geoff was also a professional rider (built Glen Mitchell's 1980 Moscow Olympics Pursuit frame, and his Percy Bilton frames) and is better equipped than the most with regard to building bespoke frames in the best tradition of quality and innovation that Roberts is rightly highly regarded for.

Rk.
