Rode out part way to Geoff Roberts Cycles near Hailsham, East Sussex today. They had an open day, so I thought I'd take a look.

Some lovely machines there, and mine!

The bike of the friend I rode with, ironically a Murray! Actually a Roberts, painted for the previous owner. Not me!

I must admit, we did get some funny looks from a chaingang we passed, being on a mountain bike and track bike!

There were some beautiful bikes here, I'll leave you with a selection of photos to drool over.

Classy, Colourtech is used for Roberts framesets. Controversial I know.

So you see all these beautifully colourful bikes, then something so simple and classy turns up.

Pearl white, chrome and a shiny groupset. Wonderful! One of my favourites of the day.

Enjoy, folks ;)

Chas retired four years ago, and moved to France, Geoff Roberts always have been building frames.
They do a course where you can build your own. £1200, which includes paint, plus £250 for materials

Mike, his name was Rich.

Geoff's open day was a great success - took some time in the planning: guests, bicycles, food and drink - and much help from Geoff's Wife Stevie and friends.

Think we had 50/60 attendees altogether and some very tasty bicycles.

Jon.

P.S some good images Mike.
