Might have been in Cycling plus. I think I saw the frame at the York Rally years ago - chap had a small trade stand. I think it had SY as a stylised head badge. Someone was discussing the mitring of the tubes which might have been lugless brazed/silver soldered. I thought it was steel. Maybe this might help a bit?

In my view, the most distinctive bike that Sean rode after he retired as a pro was the Hotta. I remember riding against Sean in the 1998 National 100 miles champs, he rode alongside teammate Richard Prebble who won the event. Both of them rode these bikes, painted silver with matching wheels. Unfortunately no photos of Sean on this bike is on the site, however there is of Prebble riding the bike:
Yup, this! Quite an iconic bike that Hotta, most of the Team Clean riders rode one. So did Boardman briefly.
