New bike day

The 1985 advert shows SR rather than Delta and the manual for mine shows SR too

One thing i would like some insight on is why the frame number and build number are different

The number of the head badge is 116 but the frame number is 262. Both numbers are acknowledged in the manual but I can’t figure out what “matricola” translates as in the context of a bike

IIRC the Delta's were so poor performing that Campag pulled them from production whilst they redeveloped them, during that time SR was used in the Delta's place. Perhaps this bikes production was during that time or perhaps the designers didn't want a huge chunk of alloy spoiling the lines of their bike and weighing it down. (Albeit I'm quite fond of Delta brakes for nostalgic reasons)
