Re:

Hi, I’m currently in the process of restoring my holdsworth frame. Just wondering if anyone can tell me the age and model of the frame. The frame number is 37236.
Thanks Andrew

In dwscrimshaw's Holdsworth serial prediction, that number presently sits in late 1972.

Number, other than helping with c. catalogue year to search, is not unique to a particular model.

So... you can search nKligariff.com or posting lots of pics are always interesting and would be necessary to help with model ID.

Re:

The frame wasn’t originally blue, it was painted 25 years ago to match the colour of my dads

Thanks

That’s a factory Professional!!!! Classic and Top of the line. Must have been Orange with kingfisher blue panels originally. Was that the case?

I’m not sure what colour it was originally, my dad bought it second hand. I’m currently having it painted orange and have bought the blue decal kit

Re:

Yea no problem, I’ll post some pics as I’m going. I’m currently polishing the group set. (The carpet is in my garage, not my house!)

I would get the panels painted and use the letter decals. I tried those large panel decals, they aren't easy to fit and even though I got them from H Lloyd they didn't join up under the tube. They were too small so I had to fill the gap with paint. Also if you don't put an under coat on top of the orange I think it might effect the distinctive colour of the blue panel. I can send photos if you like.
