Gian Robert gearing

Hey folks,

a colleague of mine wants to sell his vintage Moser with Gian Robert System gearing. I never heard of this brand, is it any good?

Any info would be appreciated!

Re:

Gian Robert products were sold by Ron Kitching in the 60s, never very popular, and Campagnolo look alike ( from about 20 yards)

That's unusual, by the time Moser had pitched up Gian Robert had faded into well deserved obscurity lol. Is it a very (very) old Moser?

They were truly awful gearing - cheap & nasty with many metal parts punched out..

Not only metal parts! They also made a plastic version, probably to compete with the Simplex Prestige - but there was no competition! I had a mate who bought a GR plastic mech and all it did was bend rather than move the chain!
