Bought this bike at car boot sale. Mark as colnago but cant be. Components Handle bar stem GB. Botom bracket Made in England.Standard 27 x1 1/4 Wheels and Weinmann Brake Calibers. Will refurbish as hobby . Serial no E 5127 on rear . Help id this frame Please.

Just glanced at the photos and looks a bit Dawes..... Ish. Any frame numbers stamped on it?

Hi. On the rear Left Dropout E 5127. On bottom Braket H AND separated under K .

agree with midlife, looks a 1970's Dawes Galaxy, check under the paint for chrome on bottom half of the forks, and back 'end' of the stays. No experience of Dawes serial numbers I'm afraid. Terry
