I bought a few totes of stuff of a retired racer and he asked me to skip a couple more full of scrap bits. I’m more excited about the scrap boxes tbh. Found a grubby chainset that cleaned up into a nice Gran Sport (1978 date coded), there’s also a a set of GS pedals too to scrub up. I love it when you find something unexpected :D

Changes every time but.... sprayed with a citrus degreaser, then WD40. After that I wiped it over with methylated spirit (I like the smell). If I could have found my Solvol, I would have given it a quick polish.

More digging around today and found RAE correct B.B, dust caps and pedals
