Okey dokey…. I'll stick my hat in the ring. This is this summer's project: a Bianchi Specialissima X4. I may get her out in the sun for a better picture later.


One of the very last great steel frames out of the Reparto Corse department at Bianchi. Built up with Campag and Ive riden a couple of retro events on it. This one is a keeper

Ha it is indeed. Its complete and matching but missing one pedal dust cap. It took some cleaning up and still could be improved - a work in progress!

I'd like to put forward my Team Replica Raleigh 753 Banana. This is near as dam it a 100% replica of the 1988 team bikes. Correct frame which has been bare metal restored and then fully painted ..... That's no decals apart form the Reynolds ones. Its all paint. 100% period nos parts from the 7402 groupset to the benotto yellow tape.
Even had an original saddle recovered and custom made water transfers for the wording......

Completed just this month. This Raleigh Sirocco, frame november 1980, type bicycle 1981. Mostly original parts. except for the brakes, calipers are DiaCompe G and levers are Weinmann with new Saccon hoods. Wheels Wielen rims Wolber Champion Gentlemen 81 with Shimano 600EX hubs and Uniglide 6 speed cassette 13-14-16-18-20-22. Front wheel HI (= sept 1983), rear wheel HG (= juli 1983) . Saddle Selle Royal Sprint v2 Suede. Bars Cinelli Campione Del Mondo 66-42 in a 140 mm. Cinelli 1A stem. Classic drop and reach.
