Can anyone name this bike?

Re:

Thanks for all replies. There is 2 holes on the head tube at 31 mm centre to centre.more photos uploaded. If it were raliegh ot would have a typical raliegh serial, which it hasnt.Mass built bikes do not have 3 digit serial numbers.

Looks a bit like a Falcon. What's the seat post size? Any brazed on cable guides?
No guides on top tube at all.
2 on down tube in front of the crank.
Think the post is 26.8mm

Re:

26.8 mm seat post.
1 inch dia top tube measured with digital calipers.
The 2 cable guides on the down tube look uncommon. ?

Re:

Its a dawes.stamped in frame on rear drop out.Just don't know the model or tubing information now.It has no bottle mounts if that helps

Re:

It may be a Mark 1 Galaxy the cable stops are a dead giveaway plus the first models had no bottle mounts or other brazeons. If it is then your lucky, thats full Reynolds 531 on every bit of the bike not a mix as in later ones. Not good for heavy touring though, fore to aft flex is too much, I know from the terror of a speed shimmy coming down the Hartside pass in the Pennines after hitting a pothole
