Help Identifying frame Gitane?

Hi can anyone help with this frame please, been told it's Gitane but the headtube seems a bit fancy. Residue of what appears to be a Reynolds 531 sticker

Any thoughts on make or age?

It's a Gitane - looks identical to mine. Not sure of the model, but the guy I bought mine from said he bought it in the 1980s.

I'll put up some photos of mine tomorrow - it's locked up in the shed now.

My mistake - it's not identical, but is very similar to mine, although the lug work on mine is less intricate. I'll check before I post in future.

As I mentioned, the seller of my bike said he bought in France in the 1980s, but I didn't ask whether it was new or second hand then, so I've no idea what age or model mine is. It does hove a French bottom bracket though, and the pedal threads when I bought it were French.
