Hello everyone,

I am new to this forum and i aplogise if this is in the wrong place already.

I have a peugeot vitus 979 duralinox and i was wandering on the value.

Always difficult...frame and forks can go for £10 - £150ish.
Complete bikes from £120 - £500 depending on condition and kit.
The Mk1 you have there generally goes for a little less than the Mk2 (with hidden seat bolt).

That's an original PX10DU in the Bronze colour only available to Peugeot. The plastic badges date it to mid '80s.
What size is it? The little circle on the lhs of the head tube has the size cast in it. I'm guessing you are in the UK?
Price wise, as a bike it's worth £200-300. Split for parts you might make more. It cost £595 new if my memory is right. Not bad for 30+ year old bike - it even has the original Peugeot spec seat!

Thank you for your reply, it has the number 57 embossed in a small circle
