Leather bar covering

Thought I’d have a go at an Almarc type bar cover. What’s people’s experience with the Velobitz ones

Re:

I tried the full DIY first on an an old set of bars just to give it a try. The thing I struggled with was getting a really good clean cut on the leather.

When I did my Gazelle, I used the Velobitz kit to save having to cut the leather and put the holes in. It's good stuff. I don't know if it was by design or happy accident, but the kit was exactly the right length for my Nitto Noodle bars!

I would recommend getting a leather offcut to practice on first, it takes a few inches or so to get your eye in with the stitching and if you keep having to unpick and go back you can damage the holes.
