Sunrace 7 speed free wheel has anyone used/got one ? Also any issues using it on a Zenith or similar 126mm rear hub? which are normally for 5/6 fw.
As far as I can tell it should work . Depth of thread etc
It will be a new build wheel.

Frame in question is spaced for/as 126mm

I think a lot will depend on the frame - things get very close between the top cog and the stays. 7 speed frames tend to have a flattened area on the inside face of the chainstay just forward of the dropout. Worth a look I think.

Thank you . Confirms my thinking . It is for a friends winter bike. Only had a quick look at it last night.He has an old 7 speed f/w in at the moment,which appears to be a narrower width than modern 7 speed f/w.{ He wants to fit a wider ratio f/w}
I think he will be better using a 6 speed f/w . Shimano list a 14/28,which would suit his needs.
He does not want to cold set the rear drop out either, which limits options.

Frame has no flat spots on rear stays by the drop out.

I agree - a 14-28 6 speed looks the best solution. I might even have one in the bits box.
