Hello
I don't know if this has been asked before,I have a 70s Dawes Galaxy with the above sized tyres,is it possible to get anything wider ?
I know I can change to 700c wheels,so don't mention it. :D

Schwalbe do some big chunky tyres in that size, they are a pretty wide tyre anyway...... If my memory from the 70's recalls :)

Check "Raleigh" tyres before purchase, some are actually Chinese Cheng Shin made and branded. The Cheng Shin Raleigh tyres fitted to my Retro Raleigh have prematurely perished sidewalls and are in need of replacement despite low mileage and almost no tread wear.
