Looking for bottle cage options for my '85 Champion Mondial.

I really like the Elite Ciussi, and Minoura makes some lovely stuff as well.

What would be period correct options? TA comes to mind, but any other options?

Thanks!

Definitely something in bent aluminium.
I used Elite Ciussi back in '86-'87, I think

The TA ones were more spindly and softer aluminium wire with a plastic lip on the front...definitely not as nice and getting dated by the '80s.

All the best,

Can't go wrong with an Elite Ciussi imo...

The Cobra petered out in the early 80's as it was a bit flimsy (but light).........Elite or TA :)

TA Steel if you're doing a top of the range build. They are like hens teeth and rarely come up for sale without lots of corrosion on them.

The TA alloy cages were appalling and bottle ejections were commonplace!!
