B Blacktopdisciple Retro Guru Feedback View Sep 28, 2017 #4 Well my dad once bought an Elswick in 1980 and it came with a Raleigh branded stem fitted. I think the stem may have been a Sturmey Archer item.

K keithglos Senior Retro Guru Sep 28, 2017 #8 Re: There is no doubt that this bike was manufactured as a Raleigh make. It has the octagonal headset. Also the 26 thread per inch bottom backet bearings. Keith
