Re:

Hi, jut a snippet of info, Ernie Boult's was in Stafford, and he was bought out by Witcomb's. He did sell some lovely frames, not 100% whether they were build in house or bought in. Terry

I have just finished my EA Boult

supervised by the original owner.

I have buried in that thread some information I found about EA Boult
http://www.bicycles.net.au/forums/viewt ... 5#p1365672

and other known Boult frames. (click on the links in the thread.)

However, there may be more.
On Facebook at the weekend there is a possible Boult frame
hard to link but use this and then click on the X in the top right corner of the window and it should take you to the discussion

and a collector has one (in Germany) see that facebook thread, and a friend thinks a mate has a 1930s one, also in South Australia.

Philip,

My Dad was a racing cyclist for RAF Stafford in the early 1950's. I will ask him about Boult's for you!

Thank you for providing this information.
It greatly contributes to the scant documentary record of this manufacturer.
If you come across any more , please add it.

Re: E A Boult

You are most welcome. Very pleased to have contributed. I shall certainly add more if I come across any. As an aside, I had school swimming lessons in Stafford Brine Baths in 1963 !
