Marx Bikes are the Australian distributor of Roberts Custom Cycles, a UK based company that has been building bespoke steel made-to-measure bicycles and frames for more than 50 years. They proudly combine modern technology with traditional craftsmanship to produce practical, elegant and functional custom bicycles.
Charlie Roberts started Roberts Cycles in the early 1960’s in Croydon, England. In the decades since, Roberts Cycles has consolidated its position as one of the finest bespoke bicycle producers in Britain. In 1979 Charlie sadly passed away and his son Chas took over the helm.
Since then, the company has continued to embrace innovation and maintained the exacting engineering standards that Charlie first set, combining them with new technology and a passion for beautiful design.
Mark Gasson, owner of Marx Bikes is passionate about bikes. He worked for Chas for fifteen years and has never considered purchasing anything but Roberts Bikes.
Roberts are committed to impeccable craftsmanship, they’re not just about the science of building bicycles; they create unique works of art.
