Creaky shoe plates, how do YOU stop it?

Hi folks,

Always used Look type pedals and shoe plates, and always had creaking where they touch after a while.
I've used WD40 and furniture polish in the past to stop the noise, but doesn't last.
I was wondering what you use.

Don't say Time pedals! That's really not helpful! :LOL:

And no, it isn't my knees either!

Does it happen with new shoe plates?. With my spd's I've used wax oil to good effect it lasted longer than WD40 but still had to redo it every couple of weeks during the winter never used furniture polish though

That's an idea. Have some at work too. Spray that is. Not curtain poles! :LOL:

With look deltas I find most of the creaking comes from the front of the cleat - the bit that slides in and under at the front.... if that makes sense. I grease that part of the pedal
