I put pace suspension forks on 1 of my bikes once, what a total utter waste that was (gave them back 1month later totally ****) 10yrs later & they're still shite from that I hear :lol:

I seemed to have committed a retro faux-pas by building up a New Old Stock M-Trax Ti frame with full current Deore XT, current Rock Shox Sids and FSA finishing kit.

Still, it saves being petrified of busting something irreplaceable, it all works properly, and I get new bits in any bike shop.

Your not on your own terryhfs. I've got a 92 Trimble but with 07 XT-R :shock:
I do have canti's and a 90's hope ultra light hub. I did my best to buy the retro kit. But was not lucky with e-bay and buying on this site.
