new you liked a good drop

I've shown the Zaskar pic off too many times so watch this space for something orange on its way.

Meanwhile, heres the Nishiki Nagasaki Pie & Custard machine and the GT Talera Scarer:

Cool thread :D . I have been looking for a suitable quill stem for ages. I have a set of WTB dirt drops but no stem :( . Would love a salsa p10 if anyone has one sitting around doing nothing  .

Anyway this has been my favourite inspiration thread for drop bar bikes check it out and run the slide show. Some nice bikes on here :

Is it done to sport regular roadbars on an off-road bike, or is there a catch, in sturdiness for example? I'm thinking of putting one on my latest...

Have you actually ridden a bike wth drops on? If you like road bikes, a fast blast on a fire road on an MTB with drops puts a smile on my face at least.

Gives you loads of hand positions and the strength of current bars shouldnt give anybody worries about climbing
