Is being lighter than a Litespeed the point?

And should we not hijack this thread any further?

Ofcourse it doesn't matter if it's lighter or not.
Just trying for some friendly banter.
The thread may continue unhijacked from....

....now.

HIJACK

Apologies, have reread my post and it sounds a bit testy! Not my intention honest but was being called to eat by the little boss.

Anyway, not only have we lighter frames than the Litespeed but also rarer as apparently so many snapped! As ours are intact we should be ok to shim away to our hearts content.

UNHIJACK

It's all gravy ededwards!
I didn't realise that lots of Vits had snapped
What's the weakspot?
There were only 100 to begin with so can't be too many around now.

Sorry Hilts - Hijack over :D

To continue the hijack, a lot of Vits cracked around the chainstay / bottom bracket join. I had mine re-welded then eventually it had 2 small gussets added which should strengthen this area enough to prevent further failures.
