In response to a number of Dyna Techs appearing on the forum recently, and inspired by the very useful Early Saracen lovers anonymous thread, I thought I'd set this one up.

This thread will hopefully celebrate and expand the knowledge of the innovative, short-lived and ultimately commercially unsuccessful Raleigh Special Products Division Dyna Tech brand.

I invite you to post up photos of your bikes and to share knowledge on these somewhat under represented and unappreciated bikes.

I'll start off with some pictures:

Some more pics of my DynaTech - can't wait to take it for a spin this weekend. With my luck I'll fall into a ditch and bend the frame..

The Encounter is 99% original, and any bits that have been replaced are in keeping with the year (except pedals!) Still a few little things i want to get just right before i consider it finished!

The Mission is more of a day to day rider, the frame is a bit stratched up so i tend to use this one for winter rides. For a 20year old bike it rides very well.

Some pics :D

WOW BoJangle - that encounter looks amazing. and the mission takes me back too. Where did you come by the encounter? Cant beloeve it still has the original tyres on it too. You should try for a Oddssey for your next project. That would give you the full family. then start on the titanium models - hope you have a large garage.
