nuke proof and 9 speed

The earlier thinner (non-bomb) are not very good......In fact crap as they tended to break at the thin ali flange and then seperate from the carbon. The second generation (bomb-proof) were much better and relly dont have any problems other than than the bad rep of their forebearers. The Bombies will take a 9 of course.

i can buy a set of NOS "bombies" (at least the seller says they're not used)
and i wondered if they're worth building a wheel with......if i change my mind i'll spread the word for anyone interested.

I use a set on my road bike with 9 speed, no problems. Although mine are bomb proof they do have cracks in the flange where the ali meets carbon, but hasn't affected them since they appeared a year ago...
