Kona Headset

Hi

I've just picked up a lime green '92 (I think) Fire Mountain off eBay and very nice it is too. Thing is, it has a threaded headset and I'm not sure what size it is (even my old Raleigh M-Trax Ti 1000 has an Aheadset)

If it's 1 1/8 can I fit an Aheadset system? which would open the door to a lot of upgrades. I did fancy fitting some wider riser bars to it but the Velocity stem wont allow this. Is there a Quil type stem that has a removable front to enable bendy bars to be fitted?

I have a 135mm Salsa stem, 1 1/8" 0 rise. It has a narrow clamp and will allow risers.

I'll sell it for Â£15 Posted.

Or you could use a 1 1/8" ahead - quill converter and a modern stem.

Should be 1 1/8. I have a 92 hahana and its 1 1/8. If so, you can use ahead system.
