Have tried to zip file of pictures of Pacific Super XT but it just keeps disappearing. Will have to wait for wife to get home.

well i have attempted yet again to send photos but my camera creates big files and the site only allows 512kp whereas camera works at 24mp, any hints on how to reduce would be welcome. Got the bike out again today and I still reckon that it is the best ever even though it is now 26 years old.

Use an image hosting site like dropbox or photobucket and the copy and paste the Img file into your post.

I am fairly sure Pacific made the early ( 89-92 ish ) Carreras for Halfords.
Certainly that last FS frame on the catalogue scan is exactly the same as the 93 Muddy Fox Rock and Roll bikes. ( which were, er, not so great )
I can remember seeing some of the alloy versions those frames on the Zinn stand at BicycleExpo in 92 at Ally Pally and mentioning it to one of the MF reps who looked shocked and ran off to check.
